Fenceline Newt Barrier film is designed for the
construction of physical barriers to protect and contain naturally
occurring populations of endangered amphibian species. Barriers
against these species are very important during and sometimes
after civil engineering projects such as pipeline construction
and road building.
The Great Crested Newt and Natter Jack Toad are
protected under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 and Habitats
Regulations Act of 1994. In addition adders, grass snakes, slow
worms and common lizards are also protected under the Wildlife
and Countryside Act of 1981 which protects them from injury,
killing and sale.
Fenceline newt barrier film is supplied in 100m
rolls 1 m wide and is UV light stabilised. The film is manufactured
specially from prime grade polymer ensuring the finished film
is of the highest quality with a smooth surface that resists
climbing. The film is clear and is 100% free from blemishes.
Drop trap plastic buckets are also available to
compliment the newt barrier fence. |
